🇸🇬 vs 🇪🇸 Comparison with Spain
Singapore is one of the world's smallest countries but has one of the highest GDP per capita. Despite its tiny size, it's a global financial hub and has the world's busiest transshipment port.
⏳ Cultural Identity
Singapore's unique identity comes from its blend of Asian cultures with Western influences. This multicultural heritage is reflected in its architecture, festivals, languages, and especially its food, which combines Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western traditions into unique Singaporean dishes.
🍽️ Hawker Center Etiquette
When visiting hawker centers, look for tables with tissue packets or personal items—they're "choped" (reserved). After ordering, wait for your food to be ready before paying. It's customary to clear your own tray when finished. Follow the locals' lead and join the longest queues—they usually lead to the best food!
Singapore's transformation into a green city wasn't just aesthetic—it was a deliberate strategy to differentiate itself from other Asian cities, provide a high quality of life, and create a sustainable urban environment despite limited natural resources.

Your accommodation on Sentosa features four themed pools: Adventure Pool (with water slides), Lazy River Pool, Children's Play Pool, and Pamukkale Pool (adults-only). The hotel offers complimentary shuttles to VivoCity mall, which connects to Singapore's MRT system for easy access to the city.
